First baptism!

Hey Brentwood,
I'm doing good I am making a lot of good lifelong friends. Good news! We now have 2 investigators! One was the grandma of someone that the other missionaries baptized a couple weeks ago. And the other we met on the street and have been teaching him and he came to church. Unfortunately it was the worst sacrament meeting I have ever been in but oh well he had a better time in class and priesthood. But we have to hand him off to the other elders because he actually lives in their area but oh well. It doesn't matter who teaches him just as long as he is being taught. But the grandma we are teaching is awesome. Her name is Diane and she loves me to death. She is an amazing cook. She makes amazing fried chicken and barbecue chicken. But she refers to me as her man and she won't let me shake her hand she has to hug me! Hahaha but she told us the other day when we taught her the first vision that she knew for a fact that it was true and it was amazing! She has such a strong spirit about her and she already has a baptismal date! Yesterday we held 2 why I believe missionary fire sides one in lewisberg and one in Williamsport and they were amazing so many people showed up to both! You felt the spirit so strong when all of us missionaries were singing. It was amazing! I saw a horse and buggy for my first time yesterday when we were driving to one of the firesides. It was pretty cool. I love teaching lessons. I love it when you repeat the first vision and the spirit is so strong and there is no denying that it happened because the spirit is testifying right then and there that it is true! Well have a great week!

Little League World Series Museum

Hello everyone,
So this week wasn't too exciting I had zone conference and that was fun. It's always fun when you sit for 7 hours! Haha but in zone conference we did role plays and president came and sat in on mine and Elder Bells and after he asked us to go up in front of the entire zone and show everyone how we role play! It was scary being a greenie up there and everyone watching you. But we did good. So we also taught a new investigator named Ted he has his own "home" church. But he wants to know more so we had a great lesson with him but he says he isn't interested in joining but wants to meet with us more to learn more! So we might meet with him again soon. The other walking elders had a baptism this week and I got to be in the confirmation of both their investigator and this 8 year old girl's confirmation. So I got to be involved in a lot for these people's baptisms! I also went on exchanges with the zone leaders and it was awesome this investigator asked us if we could give her a blessing so we did and then when we were getting dropped off by our member that was with us and he asked me if I would be able to give him a blessing so then we gave 2 blessings in like 20
minutes! I always carry my oil on me and this was the first time I got to use it! I also got to drive the zone leaders car during exchanges! I haven't driven in months so it was kinda scary at first but tiwi didn't yell at me too much! So ya that was basically my week! Oh and
today we are going on a tour of the little baseball fields/museum!!
I'm feeling great I weighed myself yesterday and I weighed 139 pounds!!!! I have gained 16 pounds! We also did a couple of service projects. We helped a family move and this lady owns a lot of property that is covered with trees so she just needed help cutting down dead trees and hauling the wood around! Oh actually one more thing. For some reason everyone thinks I look old! Every single person since I walked through the doors of the mtc up until even now think I am like 22 years old! No one thought I was a greenie at first some people think I'm training Elder Bell! It's ridiculous! I am pretty excited because I am always the baby everywhere I go!! Have a great week!

First time tracting in a pouring rainstorm!

Hi Everyone. I have been asked if we get to attend the temple. No we don't get to go to the temple. Only the elders that live an hour and a half away from one then we can but we live like 3 hours away from them. My Sunday was pretty good. There is this guy named Lenny Wright that is awesome. He drives us around all the time and always comes out to lessons with us and he pays his tithing and everything. He does all that except he doesn't go to church! He hasn't been for 5 years and this Sunday we finally got him to church and it was amazing! So this week was interesting it's not very cold anymore but Wednesday me and Elder Bell were walking around and then out of no where it starts pouring rain on
us! So we continue to walk and we had a dinner appointment so we walked there and when we walked inside everyone's jaws dropped because of how wet we were. Hahaha while we were walking in the rain Elder Bell wasn't to happy with me because I was laughing non-stop and he was so confused why, but I was just laughing at how hard it was raining on us! I thought it was hilarious at the time! Me and elder bell had been praying and praying for us to find investigators and finally on Saturday we were walking around and we ran into 3 people that were really interested the first guy named Ron said "I believe God had you
guys walk past me right at this moment to share this message with me" another guy wanted us to come to his house another day and have sandwiches with him and talk some more. And another lady invited us to her and her families Bible study. So we loved that day we got home and we got on our knees and prayed to our Heavenly Father thanking Him for
putting those people in our path so we could talk to them. But yesterday we were supposed to meet with Ron again and we walked up to his door and there was a note attached to the Book of Mormon we gave him that said "Sorry guys not for me" so that was kind of a bummer but oh well we just need to keep our heads up and look for other
investigators. That was basically the highlights of my week. I hope everyone is doing good! I am! I love being a missionary!
