Baptisms!

So this week has been awesome!

So yesterday the walk Elders had a baptism of two twin girls named
Denise and Denisha! They are awesome they are the girls we walked into
at IHOP and so it was awesome to be able to see them get baptized! One
of them has asked me to confirm them next Sunday so I'm freaking out a
little!

So this week we had interviews with president and it's always great to
be able to talk to president! I tried to convince him to send me back
to a walk area but he just laughed at me! He also loves to make fun of
me for being a Kings fan! But it is always inspiring when we meet with
president!

So we also had stake conference and at the Saturday session the stake
president had all the missionaries sing called to serve and at the
chorus of the second verse the stake presidency had everyone stand up
to sing and it was so powerful! I could feel the spirit so strong when
the entire congregation sang so powerfully!

Well I'm pumped because next week Kenzie is getting baptized!!!! She
is so prepared and I'm looking forward to it so much! She has asked me
to confirm her this Sunday so I'm terrified to do that!!! This Sunday
is going to be crazy with 3 people being confirmed in sacrament
meeting! 2 weeks 3 baptisms in the Harrisburg Ward! The work here is
exploding!!

Elder Swisher

People falling from the sky!

This week has been great!

So Kenzie is doing great she is hopefully going to be baptized in 2
weeks! She came up to me at church and said she was nervous about the
interview. But I went over some of the questions right there with her
and when she saw what the questions are like she said "oh I can do
that!" So she is now so pumped to get baptized!!!

So we got a Book of Mormon referral for this guy! His name is Anthony
and he is awesome! He was saying things like how he wants to be
baptized again because he feels like being baptized as a child doesn't
work. He said that if he had his own church everyone would teach each
other not by one pastor. He also said that because there is one God
there should be one church! And so we taught him the restoration! And
he was excited to come to church!

We also were walking around a place called Steelton one night and it
was like 8:40 at night and we had nothing to do so we saw a name we
never saw before for a less-active and so we knocked on the door and
this Spanish lady answers but her and her kids were pumped to see us
so we talked to them for a little bit and it turns out that they just
moved here and have been waiting for the missionaries. Her and her 4
kids love the missionaries. It turns out that her daughter just turned
8 and she came up to me and asked if she could be baptized tomorrow!
Hahaha miracles happen!

I also got to go to the Philadelphia temple!! It was amazing it was
truly amazing to be back at a temple! We went sight seeing after wards
and also had the best philly cheese steak sandwich!

We have been so busy here there have been so many people we have to
visit we have been running around like crazy! Well I hope you are all
doing well have a great week!

Temple trip! Philedelphia!

if we live within 2 hours and we do so we had a member take all 4 of
us! It was so much fun it felt so good to be able to do an endowment
session again! I forgot how spiritual a temple session is! We then ran
around philly seeing a bunch of cool things like independence hall and
the liberty bell! We had authentic philly cheese steaks that were
heaven in your mouth!! I guess you could say we had a good day! But
because of this trip we had to move our p-day so I won't be able to
email on Monday!

Chocolate World!

So this week we had a worldwide missionary broadcast that changed a
lot! And our investigator Kenzie made a big decision!!

So big changes!! We had a worldwide missionary broadcast and they
announced a lot of things!!
So we now have a longer P-day it now starts at 8:00 in the morning and
goes till 6:00. Nightly planning was changed so now we plan in the
mornings. Companion study is now only 30 minutes long and can happen
whenever we want too. Our lunch got cut down to only 30 minutes and
now at night when we get home we can just relax we have from 9:00 to
10:30 at night to do whatever as long as we are in the apartment!

The other changes are to our key indicators! We no longer keep track
of lessons! We only keep track of baptisms, people with a baptism
date, investigators at church, and new investigators!! So a lot has
changed! But we also now have an extra 30 minutes every morning to get
ready and eat breakfast!

Other big decision was Kenzie came up to me and Cooper this Sunday and
said I was thinking about my baptism date! And she said that she
thought it was too far away and wants to move it up to February!! So
good news is I might be here for her baptism!!!

So everything here in Harrisburg is on the up and up!

Also today we went to Chocolate World!! It was pretty cool I bought a
huge box of Reese's!!
