Training and district leader!

So this week was a good week.

We got back in contact with a less-active named Alisha. She has been
in a bad place but this week we finally were able to sit down with her
and talk to her and she was so grateful for us coming by. She said she
wants to turn her life around she is applying for jobs and is starting
to read her scriptures again and she came back to church this past
Sunday. And you can tell that she knows what path she needs to be on!
Teaching less-actives is the best because they already have a
testimony it is just a matter of rekindling it.

We taught Matthew again this week! He is the absolute best! He read
the introduction to the Book of Mormon and so when we met with him he
had a bunch of questions. He just has such a great desire to read and
learn more about the Book of Mormon. He has some disagreement with the
apostasy but knows that if he reads the Book of Mormon and prays about
it that it will help his understanding. He wants to start coming to
institute and church to be able to learn more. He asked us for
websites he can go on to search more things. He is definitely
prepared!

So this was the last week of the transfer and Presidents calls people
to give them leadership positions the Saturday before transfers. So I
was sitting there Saturday morning scared that the phone would ring
and then as I sat down for personal study and started reading the Book
of Mormon I wasn't thinking about it then.... BAM! The phone started
ringing and it was president. I answered and he proceed to tell me
that this transfer I will be training... I froze for a second. He told
me he knows I'm ready for this I replied back and said "are you sure
about this?!" He laughed and told me yes. So I guess I'm going to be
training! I find out who I'm training tomorrow at the training
meeting! I'm excited and nervous and freaking out but it's ok. I
think.

Well that was basically the highlights of this week. Thank you for
everything! I love and miss you all!

This is a picture of Matthew!
