Last Transfer!

Well ladies and gentleman you heard right! Swisher, starting Thursday, is on his last transfer... it is crazy how fast time has gone. It is even crazier that this is the first transfer since my trainer died that I have companions dying. RIP Goeckeritz and Davidson! I’ll miss you guys! For the last transfer nothing changed. It is me and Elder Segon here in Johnstown Walk! And it has been snowing...

So highlight of this week was we started talking to our neighbor down the street who we have talked to before and she said she wasn’t interested. But she came out and was just chatting with us for a little bit. Her name is Gloria and she is from Columbia. She is a sweet old lady. And she was wondering why we are always walking around in the cold. So we told her about our missions. And she thought it was so cool. Well long story short. She ended the conversation by saying “I’ll convert just to please you honey!” Hahaha it was the greatest! Gloria is like a grandma too us now! Hahaha

So at the beginning of this week. I got to go on exchanges with the one the only Elder Walker! Elder walker has just been following me around the mission. He just keeps popping up. He’s kinda hard to get rid of! Hahaha jk I hope he reads this part! But it was awesome. We got so much done. We had probably one of the most spiritual lessons I have been in with our investigator Matt. And it just changed matt completely. He went from being this dark depressed guy to every time we see him he is smiling and loving life. It was just a great lesson. It was very similar to a king lamonis father experience in the Book of Mormon. We also found like 3 new investigators and it was just a great day! Love ya E. Walker!

Another highlight was when me and Elder Segon went to visit this group home of young men. We gave 4 young boys Book of Mormons last time and this time 3 of those boys sat down with us and we had an awesome little lesson with them. They are some guys going through a hard time and you could tell that these boys found peace with what we said. 2 of those boys read the Book of Mormon on their own! So we have 3 young boys that are excited to meet with us. It was just awesome to be able to teach these young men and help them learn about Christ.

So we were walking down the street the other day and Elder Swisher being his normal self lost focus and was kinda zoned out and next thing I know I walked smack right into some tree branches! Hahaha I got all cut up on my forehead and so now everywhere I go everyone is asking how I got these claw marks on my head! Hahaha so I’ve enjoyed making up different stories! Hahaha

Last highlight was that a couple days ago was December 8th! That marks 12 years since my bone marrow transplant that saved my life! Thanks to B-Rookie! You’re my hero!

That was my week! Thanks for all your love and support!

My pic is what happens when you’re board weekly planning! Hahaha
